For managers, leaders and client-facing teams

Tactful & tactical conversations

Handle feedback, conflict and sensitive conversations with clarity and care.

Discuss your priorities

Why this matters

Address the issue before it grows.

An avoided conversation rarely disappears. It can become a performance problem, a damaged relationship or a decision made without the information people need. Preparation helps; practice shows what happens when another person responds.

What participants do

In forum theatre, participants observe a believable fictional workplace scene, examine the choices and, where the format allows, direct a replay. Actor-coached real-play then gives people the opportunity to rehearse their own conversations, receive feedback and try again.

What the work supports

  • Raise difficult issues while maintaining dignity
  • Question, listen and respond when emotions or resistance arise
  • Balance clarity, accountability and the relationship

Programme options

Focused workshops or practice within a wider programme. Group size and facilitator capacity are planned around meaningful rehearsal time.

Shaped around your context

Feedback, performance, conflict, change and inclusion can all provide the context. Fictionalised scenes preserve confidentiality while retaining the pressures that make the conversation difficult.
